A current design that is already too complicated is not going to be made less so by adding more to it.

Somehow this reminds me of black metal band logos. They are often in ”I wonder what that says” category.

I'm in the camp of : do what ever the hell you want to do with your art. After all it is YOUR art.
I will ask : Have you ever seen a similar maker's mark on anything that will be that small and detailed ?
I'm trying to think of one but I'm not all that well versed in maker's marks.
I will say the skull symbol for Emerson that is on the blade of my latest knife is extremely tiny and very detailed but they felt that it was a must to put on the blade along with the fairly complex Emerson dart / triangle logo.
