Would you be mad at your wife if...

Only if you have never ever lost anything. Unless she's really into knives I wouldn't drop a ton of money on a knife her from here forward. I got my fiance a benchmade 3 years ago (can't remember the model, a blue label spring assisted design) she had kept up with it but carries it in her purse and always asks to use my XM.... I have considered upgrading her to a 3" XM but I'm not sure about it yet.

I wouldn't be upset about the lost knife, the broken one a little. Really though my wife is far more important to me than things. Now my first wife thats a different matter. We just weren't meant for each other I'm a christian and she's Satan, just didn't work out.

No, she is probably being hard on herself already. Look in between the couch cushions. I found two lost knives before in between the couch cushions. Sometimes depending on the pants and the retention of the clip it can happen. Check the vehicles and recliners too.

I've been trying to trade my wife off for years....doesn't work, after I give a description they normally pass on the offer. And if you're gettin laid....you just ain't been married long enough.

been married 23 years, and could still get it as much as I wanted, if either of us had time! (it pays to be married to a horn.... an, ah, er... eager woman!)

Well I've stopped loaning stuff to people who don't see the value with it... Don't hold it against her but I'd not be letting her use my good stuff anymore...

Sounds like she needs a good SAK -for the sake of your wallet, kitchen cutlery, knife collection, and sanity. Easy to screw on license plates with and easy to replace. :D

Been married long enough, I guess some people just marry better than others.

Of course there are some lucky ones in the bunch. Hey...mostly I just joke on here...not really telling personal matters....just trying to get a laugh ya know. I did good though picking a wife, she's a mix between Kim K and Connie Selica looks wise....but has the attitude of Hilary Clinton. ..so I'm screwed, she's from Jersey and I'm and country boy from SE Virginia. How it happened still puzzles me to this day...we've been together almost 17 years and I hate her more now then when I met her.

My wife lost her rainbow-coated (limited edition of 250) Benchmade Benchmite which I had gotten engraved for her as a Christmas present. :( So yeah, I feel your pain. She kept it zipped in a small pocket of her wallet, and has no idea how she lost it. Irreplaceable. :(

I bought my wife a Kershaw Boa with the multicolored handle years ago for Christmas. Paid $75. She waited until they were long discontinued and selling for $200+ and lost it.

She was far more pissed off than I was. She carries a pink handled Rat 2 now.

Wouldn't be angry. At the end of the day it's just a knife and now you have an excuse to buy another one. If she knows how much these things mean to you, she's probably upset enough at herself.

Mad? Nope. Knives come and go; enjoy 'em while you got 'em. I've lost a couple of beauties. Of course it's painful, but fortunately there are guys out there making more great knives. Next time get her a knife with bright orange scales.

Nope. Stuff happens and if she really liked the 777, she's probably as bummed as you are...
Get her a ZT0770 CF in ElMax or M390, smaller but a good solid replacement.

I don't see why you should be mad at anyone for losing something. Unless you believe that the "losing" was done on purpose.

The good news, we tore up the house, went through everything and finally found it!!! I told her I will put it in the safe and find her something else to carry everyday that we can at least replace if it gets lost.

After seeing how upset she was about losing it, I couldn't really be mad. So I'll start hunting something nice for Xmas for her to carry, but ultimately something that we can get again if needed

Glad to hear you found it! Spyderco and Benchmade knives make the best significant other EDC knives because they are high enough quality but easily replaceable if lost

Happy to hear you found it!

My daughter lost hear engagement ring this year while on vacation. We (whole extended family) rent a beach house for 2 weeks every year in Duck/OBX..lost it 2nd day..After she and her husband "WTF"ed each other (He hadnt insured it) for a day and a half, followed by a half a day of the silent treatment from each other...they were laughing about it..(she was anyway)..The kids and the family being around helped for sure.

If mine lost my HHFSH or my NMSFNO...her shit would be on the front lawn..:D..Totally kiddin'

Suggestion:

Get her a dozen of 'em.
