Would you be mad at your wife if...

Ha. I have a couple in mind for her. She's active duty Army and has good taste in blades, but they have to carry folders unless in the field.

I will say if she loses my new Gladius or my mojo...

Nancy uses a purple Delica and loves it.
She also has a Purple Endura

Great knives for the dough.

She also said she needs a knife bag now :)

I was reading this thread and thinking, "it's probably not really lost, you just don't know where it is right now"

That has been my operating principle regarding missing things. It's not gone, it's just misplaced. Every time something comes up missing, resinwife assumes the worst, that's it's lost and gone. And I wax philosophical, saying that it will probably turn up eventually. We almost always find that thing, validating my belief again, and again, and again. Despite that, she never wavers from her pessimism. Oh well.

Glad to hear that you found it.

Now Cobalt did manage to misplace an SHBM many years ago. Seeing as how it bounced out of a boat in the Shenandoah River, short of scuba gear and a metal detector, that knife is lost.

That's what gold chains are for. You don't see Flavor Flav losing clocks. Cobalt needs more gold chains.

Yea she did that one too. Came home and one of my nice kitchen knives was broke. I asked her what happened. She said it was cheap shit knives. So I asked how she broke it. Trying to loosen a screw the put a new license plate bracket on her car

That's a hero move, and if she has that attitude with my stuff I'd reconsider the relationship.

My wife has ruined nice stuff of mine before. But, if it happens, she is always apologetic. She knows knives are not screw drivers or prying tools. What she does not see a problem with, is washing wooden handled knives in the dishwasher! We have an agreement, she does not use any knives she is not willing to wash a d hand dry.
