Would you buy a bladeless SAK?

In watching one of the OEM vids, the CEO makes note of the impact of 9/11. That's why they've diversified into SA-branded luggage, apparel, watches etc.
But, if you're like me, I get more, if not MOST use out of my SAK for the other tools. I've always got other knives with me, and frankly, I'll grab my stockmen for blade use for almost all reasons.

I use my magnifyer, reamer(backspring awl), scissors the most. I've also used the pack-hook and CS, LOL. I'd love to see SAK introduce a few models themselves to test the waters..The TSA-Series.

Would you buy one, assuming the proper compliment of your faves?

Yes, maybe an alox version sans knife, but I'd lean towards a Swiss Tool that didn't have a knife. I would guess that most folks with a multi-tool also carry a knife as well, so a knife on a multi-tool is a bit redundant.

I would as long as it's alox and packing, a bottle opener. screwdrivers including Phillips, and scissors. If you could also add tweezers and a toothpick to the alox that would pretty much be my dream edc sak.

I wouldn't.

For me a sak is a knife with some tools. It's my edc knife and I see it as my pocket knife.

Why remove the blade, it takes so little space??

May as well have the whole package!

No, I would not.

Since retiring, the better half and I have done a bit of flying around. In my wallet are the P-38 can opener I had in the army, and my Sear's 4-way keychain screw driver. A small folding scissors in in my carry on bag. So I have some tools that I carry with me onto the plane. If I can't carry a SAK with a blade, then I sure don't want to waste my time carrying something that does not offer me what my wallet tools do. I'll pick up my SAK at the other end of my trip.

Nope. I've already got a set of keys (Esquire on the keychain as a backup blade in case something happens to my main blade or I need scissors), knife, wallet (p38 and craftsman screwdriver in the wallet along with a couple bandaids and paperclips), handkerchief, and cell phone in my pockets, so I don't really need to add one more thing that doesn't have a knife attached to it. :)

I've got a Vic Jetsetter, which is basically a Classic with a phillips/bottle opener instead of a blade. I keep it in my laptop bag for flying. I carry a Vic Executive most of the rest of the time, and since the scissors, tooth pick and tweezers are tools I use often, the Jetsetter is useful in my carryon as a backup. I've been separated from my luggage enough times to appreciate the utility of carrying certain items with you all the time.

I carry an alox pioneer daily and use it almost as often but almost never for the blade. I carry a different knife for cutting. I'd be very happy to see the main blade replaced with something smaller like a hawkbill or sheepsfoot, but would still carry it without a knife. Keep the can opener, bottle opener, and awl, then add any other useful tool and count me in.

I definitely would, since I usually carry a knife with me and don't need another blade. If it's alox and orange. Of course.

leghog, that's FUNNY! As several have pointed out, it would no longer be a SA Knife.. So since they already have Swiss TOols, what about a SPoT..Swiss Pocket Tool?
