Would you buy a bladeless SAK?

I would get it if it would be allowed on planes, etc. however if it had scissors and other "dangerous" tools they might not let it through security anyways!

The Victorinox Jetsetter has scissors and is TSA complaint.

The Leatherman Style PS also has scissors and is TSA compliant.

Because of the laws in my country, there are occasions when something like that would come in handy. Pocket knife carry is legal, but not in certain situations, for an example when you're in a bar. I have considered getting a knifeless multi-tool for that purpose, I believe Leatherman had a knifeless Fuse model, but I've never gotten one.

Balance seems to be swayed a bit TOWARD the concept, huh? The last couple times I have used a blade, it was the small blade on my Explorer.

Well - I was thinking about this topic, almost before this thread started. Thinking about getting a custom made one.

A bladeless SAK, eventually Climber size w/a file instead of the mainblade would be great, micarta handled knives for me. And it would make a great addition to a wood/bone/stag handled traditional slippie knife :)

... just a dream somehow

Why would ANYbody want a SAK without a knife included?!...its insane!
Well, Leatherman has produced a few MTs w/o blades. Many of us count on our SAKs for the features OTHER than blades. I know I do. I think Sak could add a couple of new SKUs to their product line with this idea.

Who are we kidding. Of course most of us would buy one. We're SAKaholics. Now, how many would use them? That is a different question. I know I would love more TSA options. Currently the Style PS, the Jetsetter, and the various one piece tools are the main contenders. I own a few SwissTech products but they are not my 1st choice.
