Thanks, I am not familiar with OEM, are they the maker of the knife? Or do they hold the pattern rights? Sorry if my lack of knowledge.

OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. Basically the actual company doing the mfg, not the company commissioning the work. For example Reate and We knives do OEM work for a lot of the newer brands.
