Well somebodys going to get a great learning experience from this. Ed is one of the most knowledgble People on bladesmithing I have ever had the chance to speak with. I have learned so much from him just through e-mails I couldn't amagine what someone could get out of 5 day's with him. I would like too see other states, well all the state's doing the same thing, We all pay enough in taxes that's for sure!

Timing is everything. I am looking at buying a house and shop in Lewistown Montana to move back and spending more time making knives. Won't make it in time to be a resident. If I do I will be close to Greatfalls and would love to visit Ed sometime. Maybe in the future Ed. I hope someone picks up on this. Wish it could be me.

If you ever get to Greatfalls besides seeing Ed I highly recommend you also see the Charles Russel museum. AQ great look into a interesting man and period

Morning Everyone!

Thanks for all the responses! I have some name on the list right now.....Yep Jake...your one of them. Once I get all the "hard copy" requirements from the Art Council, I'll make sure that everyone who has responded gets the information, to ensure they can fulfill any requirements, and then choose who will receive the 5 days.

It certainly doesn't have to be all at once....in fact, I think it would be more beneficial to the individual to split it up a couple of days here, and a couple of days there.

I hope to have "hard copy" of the information/requirements sometime next week. More to come!

I have a rock from Montana that my grandmother brought back from a vacation when I was 10. I own property so I should qualify right? I tried.
Great opportunity. I wish Ohio was in Montana.
