Would you use/edc your chris reeve knife?

I pack an Umnumzaan in my belt sheath and a small Sebenza 21 Insingo micarta in a pocket sheath everyday. CRK's are the Best knives you can own for use!

If it's a regular production model, whichever variation, by all means it should be used. Enjoy it.

Would you marry a woman and not make love with her ;)? Through use comes deeper appreciation of the great CRK designs. I suppose my answer, is yes, I would use my CRKs, and do almost every day.

I ordered this exact one on the large size... i think.

Guys, i'm so excited about this purchase!!!! Though i wish knifecenter was open on weekends. I'll have it by tuesday though.

im glad that this is one of those things i can purchase and not be afraid to get it dirty. I'm one of those guys that has to purchase "the best" or close to it when it comes to things, and im glad that i have great response from you guys! I was almost nervous that people bought it just to sy they have one, but i now know this isnt the case with most CRK's.

And seriously i hope this is my only knife, cause im out of my budget and wife doesnt know about this purchase yet. Looks like i have a couple good reasons to work OT

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming - WOW - what a ride!!!

THAT'S THE TRUTH

second thoughts:

Im thinking the smaller one now. What size do you guys prefer? I know some of you guys have answered this before... but im thinking the larger one to edc in my life is too intimidating.

Right now, i am carrying a benchmade 940 and i feel that is as large as I want my edc to be. I know the larger is larger, but how small is the smaller?

I was always smaller blade guy, 3" or so. However, after owning both a large and small 21, I personally prefer the Large hands down now. So, I'd say go large all the way (my vote anyhow).

I don't always subscribe to the "knife is too intimidating" theory. Of course, some knives are just plain not appropriate for certain environments but I believe that the manner and demeanor of the knife wielder has as much, if not more to do with people's reactions. You would have a hard time telling the difference between a large and small when clipped to the pocket.

There is a very noticeable difference in size between the large and small. I think one of the reasons for this is the blade to handle ratio. The large just seems to open up when you open it up

In all honesty, either will do whatever you need it for. The large is not as imtimidating as you might think, the slimmer profile of CRK's gives it a gentleman look regardless of the size. The Umnumzaan IMO is more imtimidating because of the blade style.
I have several smalls, but prefer the larges. The small is excellent for carrying in my front shirt pocket.

Personal choice, I've had both large and small over the years. Sold all my large and kept all my small Sebenzas. They fit better in my hands and have the same blade thickness as the large 21. There less intimidating in public. Also I believe the small is legal in most states but not sure about the large 21?

Good Luck, on your choice, you will be more than happy with either one.

I typically EDC mine every day and use it for everything without hesitation.
All Chris Reeve Knives are designed to be used. They are not 1k+ knives. They are users even if you have fancy wood on the handle..... I carry a small sebenza 21 plane jane clip point and it works fine.

25 all day everyday. And use? Take your Sebenza out of the pretty box you keep it in and cut something hard....trust me you will enjoy it, and your Sebenza will enjoy it even more!

OK thanks guys! I just need to stick to one. I have ordered and canceled 3 of them without them even processing the requests... cause its the weekend.

but i found out knifecenter is in my state so i will get something from them.
