Very true. But as a consumer I like to know that's the rules they play by. Thanks to the OP we have a peak at their rulebook.Their sandbox, their rules. Not very sporting, though.
Yes, quite annoying when you read a review on a knife business of a particular knife and it's all 'the shipping was perfect, great to deal with XYZ' but zero info about the knife.I don't mean to advocate for this particular devil, but I submitted an online review for a product (completely unrelated to knives) that I was disappointed in and returned, and it was rejected because I mentioned the cost of return shipping (deducted from the refund). Their rules did say not to mention price (because prices change), competitor products, or customer service. All because they want you to review that product, and only the product. And that's understandable. Maybe SOG has similar rules?
You didn't review the knife.SOG Removed My Review
No he didn't, BUT reviewing the purchase experience as a whole IS valid in this online world. You didn't review the knife.
Isn’t the experience purchasing a knife worthy of consideration for a “review”? I mean, they don’t have a “review our customer service” option so the knife purchases should be all-inclusive. If the McDonalds employee cussed me out and throws a milkshake at me, are you going to say “you didn’t review the cheeseburger”?You didn't review the knife.
