OK, the money is sent, deposited correctly, & Mr. Akers has the box ready for the Pony Express tomorrow morning. My knife will be on it's way to it's new home !! After being late to the party every time Bill posted one of his knives for sale (some as little as 10 minutes after posting), I finally called him based on the gazillion great compliments I kept seeing about him. He took the time to explain all the terms of a knife, I ask him more questions that a 2nd grader, some probably two or three times, & not once did he lose his patience with me and always made sure I knew what he was explaining. Add to that the quick replies to all my emails, phone calls, & P/M's to him, and I don't think you could find anyone better to deal with. I just saw the pictures today of the finished knife, & all I can tell you it's like being at grandma's house 50 years ago on Dec. 24th & waiting & waiting & waiting & waiting & . . . . :)
Thanks Bill, I can promise you we will be doing more business in the near future . . . .
Be safe.

After all those great things you said about the knife, you couldn't throw us a bone by including one or two of the pics Bill sent you? :thumbdn:

;)

Bill does amazing work -- I have three of his knives already and, like you, will definitely be getting more in the future.

Neuron, I'm lucky to know how to run my computer as well as I do now . . . :)
Bill started a thread & pictures in the Knife Maker's forum (I think) when he started it and how it turned out. One of my New Year's resolution was #9, learn how to post pictures, along with #10, learn how to make attachments to posts . . . you can see how well I have worked on my list . . . . :D

Haha...thanks for pointing me toward the pictures. I just checked them out, and "wow" is definitely an understatement. Those handles are absolutely phenomenal, and I really like the blade shape as well. Congrats on an amazing new knife!

Congrats! Beautiful knife and you are right, Bill is a great maker but better person.

Bowden, you know this is all your fault, don't ya' . . . :) (sure hope those bruises heal on my arm).
It just seemed like everytime one of Bill's knives came on here, it would be a matter of 4 to 5 minutes and it was gone. Then on top of that, we got into a discussion about the "old neighborhood", and the next thing I know, I am sending P/P my C/C number . . .
Knife should be here tomorrow, it'll be like 12/25 in the morning. Bill told me about your trip up to his shop, great comments about you and your abilities. I'm sure I along with the others will be seeing some of your own work pretty soon.
Thanks for all the comments folks.
Be safe.
