Dayum, anyone know the correct year and version of this old 103 to describe it accurately ?

I have all paperwork as came from factory, even down to the tissue like paper that they used to wrap the knife in but no dates anywhere?Word from the President letter says Al Buck, bottom right hand corner.1973 to 1980. Look for a printers date on the paperwork. If there is one it can't be older than that.
Thanks! Is this knife what is referred to as a two liner?Best I can say, referring to Joe Houser's article in the December 2004 BCCI Newsletter, is it's a Group 2, 1973-1980, stamp is right side up, guard has two micarta and two aluminum spacers. Pommel has two micarta and one aluminum spacer. There are several other points he makes about what box and sheath...yours is correct, BTW. HTH, Preston
Some busy (and lazy) people just put a ridiculously high bid in early in the auction so they can forget about it and move on
It would not make me feel good to sell a common Buck 120 for $800.
Now I can give an accurate desciption other than "vintage".No, 'it's a three liner'. BUCK, 103, USA a two liner would have just BUCK USA. Preston
The second place bidder had auto bids up to $251.75. After that the bids were placed individually.

Money says buyer thought it was a 12in blade based on description (12in knife) and the pic angles. If the buyer pays it will go to a bay resolution
