"Wrath of God" the rapture has arrived (Pic Heavy)

man that is one sweet looking blade. might have to make a purchase from ya soon!

Yeah I couldn't put my finger on it before my first post but it's too much like the dauntless. I'd scrap it and start over with something a bit more original.

Poor rendition of a Dauntless.
yeah, other than a different blade profile, no swedge, different fuller placement, use of the studs as blade stops, different handle shape, no bolsters, different and deeper clip, presence of a large choil, deeper blade grind, rounded edges, and maybe a dozen other differences, it's a complete ripoff.

let me know when you land patents or trademarks on fullers and framelocks.

thanks bud, this knife was a long time in the making and designing, and i challenge anyone to come up with a knife design that doesnt borrow on another design....or 12. fact is we are molded by what we see and love.

and there is plenty of my own take on functionality and flow in this knife.

Thanks for the input.....

This knife was inspired by many with Peters own flair and touch. Peter keep up the good work. I have a KA Dauntless and though it may have fullers and a blood groove that's about the only thing that looks alike. Also, we decided to go all Ti on the handle. TAD has very strict guidelines for the Dauntless. Most knife makers share ideas from each other and borrow from each other designs.

And the Sanrenmu is not a Sebenza. Besides, what does that dude know :D

Peter you've been making your own style this whole time. This knife looks like you took the Dauntless and moved a few minor things. You should be able to notice where you've been inspired from, not the knife itself in my opinion.

This knife looks amazing, I do hope you do go all Ti with the handles.:thumb up: The G10 does look sharp.

well my intention was not to copy a tad knife. but it does share similarities.

the line is pretty thin in my opinion. i mean tons of guys call a knife a "loveless pattern" or "loveless inspired" (to name an example). this knife is inspired from about 50 different places. and i made changes according to what friends and cients wanted to see also.

In my opinion the blade groove and three handle grooves are similar to the Dauntless design (I've owned 5 versions), I would suggest you just adjust the handle contours and it would be a distinct design. I've got a Fellhoelter FLG with similar design elements that doesn't cross the Dauntless boundary because Brian made all three handle grooves the same length. That said, Brian may have a little leeway since he created two of the best Dauntless models ever made.
I'm quite impressed with your work Peter, I'm excited to see how the all Ti frame and handle turns out.

I think the switch to an all Ti handle is a good one. Amazing job and Ill be on the look out as to when these are available.
