Is this a Dauntless rip-off? That's not for me to say, but let's assume it's not..
Is it very much inspired by the Dauntless? I'd propose that it would be very hard to say it isn't.
TAD has a master drawing that we Dauntless makers interpret, to make it our own.
This sure has the look of a knife based off of that master drawing.
Deep choil, deep finger notch, Blade Fuller, 3 handle fullers as well as the general shape of the blade and handle.
Individually, many knives have a lot of these features.
All together on one knife is much less common.
All in all, it has the appearance of someone starting with a Dauntless and making it their own.
If this had been built 10 years ago, one would think it was a prototype for the Dauntless.
Not as sleek, or refined, but almost all of the elements are there.
