Wroan Custom Knives - pictures of my work

I do have a question for either Adam or Sphinx3000.... The name blade is composite of Wootz Steel and I've only encountered blades made with a similar name, coming from the Angel Sword forge. The steel they use for their blades is called Techno--Wootz, and they claim that through their forging processes, their "Techno-Wootz" steel is better than the "true Wootz Damascus" steel that was used in the early history of sword lore. They also claim that their blades are the best blades on the planet, which may simply be a decent marketing statement, but, as one peruses their website, seems to be what they actually believe to be true. Is this blade made from this "Techno-Wootz" steel?

I am not a steel expert. But I do know that MagnaCut is considered a premium steel by people who are steel experts. But as they say, every steel has its own ups and downsides, but MagnaCut is considered to be one of the best all-arounders. I like the fact that it is very rust resistant and tough and, as a plus, has a high wear resistance. Not that this dagger is going to need the last two, but it is a nice idea :D

This blade is not made of 'Techno-Wootz' steel. Aleksander Strzyżewski, the creator of this blade, makes his own wootz steel and is considered one of the best wootz and sabre makers in Poland.

As for Angel Sword Forge – in my opinion, their claim of making the best blades on the planet is just a marketing trick

While I agree that the claims made by Angel Sword IS most likely a decent marketing statement, I've seen the videos of what it takes for one of their Techno-Wootz blades to be destroyed and it's astounding.
