This is a forged trade axe/tomahawkforged from wrought iron with a piece of 1060 high carbon steel for the cutting bit..The head has been etched to show the wroughts texture. You can also see the cutting bit standing out from the etch..The cutting edge is 3 1/4" wide and the head is 5 1/4" long. The haft is nice curly ash. Stained with aqua fortis, rubbed with boiled linseed oil and finished with wax..

Kentucky eh? How close are you to Lexington? Do you do RK's show's? I'm just north of Lex. I did the Shriner's show a few months ago and it was TERRIBLE. There were like 50 tables there and they lowered the price to $20 since it was so small. Hopefully next year they'll advertise it better. RK's is always good though.

No havent been to one. We'er about two hours east/south east of Lexington..Near the Pikeville/Prestonsburg area..Ive been to Georgetown many times, just came thru there a couple weeks ago..
