It's really unbelievable that idiots will go and hijack someone’s thread and try to chastise him because they think he damaged a tree. Trees are a renewable resource that I can cut down. Logging supplies the building materials we as humans need. Lumber is not made from dead and rotting timber. If I want to cut down a tree, for whatever reason, I will do it. I don't need any sub-intellectuals to tell me lies about hurting the environment.

I think I will go out in the woods tomorrow and cut down a live healthy tree in its prime, just to hear it scream.:p

Or maybe I won't. The point is, it is none of your $#@*% Business.:jerkit:

Do these knives come sharpened at different angles for the two sections- or do some of you do it yourself? I could see how a thicker edge would be beneficial for the front cutting edge (chopping), and thinner better for the back (whittling, slicing etc.)

That is the idea, and I know for a fact it's the way that the models turned out by Beck and Linger are set up. Not sure about other makers.

Of course you heartless conservatives would want to kill a Honda. Anything that doesn't destroy the environment as fast as one of your American cars MUST need to be killed. So typical :rolleyes:

I don't think anybody hijacked this thread at all. It was dead for almost two months. A simple question was asked and like always an arguement broke out. I personaly don't chop down live trees. but do I really care, NO! How it has gotten to buffalo, smog, plasics and whatever else, I really can't say. A guy has to test his knife out!! And the pics are pretty nice too. So what the heck:jerkit:

Ok, now I have to go cut my neighbors tree down. It's hanging over my yard.:D
