My favorite is related to this, but is a more succinct call to action. "Improvise, adapt, and overcome." This has gotten me through a lot of tough times, and I think it applies just as much to the woods as anywhere else.

Another of my favorites is from Hemingway. When asked to define "guts," the author replied "Grace under pressure."

I recieved the message , then it vanished. I PMd you, MTwarden ,and thanks for the contest. I used GPS because I just got lost on Labor Day. Did not know which way to go. Barely made it back before dark. I was kicking myself for not having my GPS , or a simple compass.

Im stoked. Ive been reading the reviews and they've all been good. I wish I had this last year when I had two stays in the hospital.
