WSS: Bushcraft Knife Challenge Gallery.

This is the only thread on the forums I can't get the pics to load. They just don't load, no matter how many times I refresh it. I don't think it's a connection issue and it's not a computer issue. Can't figure it out. Is there a setting or something in the control panel?

The common feature is these pics are hosted on a Bark River server. Do you have that blocked by a firewall, hosts file, Peerblock/guardian or the ilk?

Can you see this gallery - http://barkriverknives.com/gallery2/main.php

They are actually hosted in the Forest&Stream online magazine section of the Bark River Collectors Association server.

It has been a very stable platform.

Most of these photos can also be viewed at the Forest&Stream web-site,

...if that helps at all.

Big Mike

Big Mike. are you the Big Mike who's always on the Bark River forums?
Absolutely gorgeous patina on that one blade.

Excellent photos. This is definitely keeping my patience level higher

Ken- I talked about the various odds and ends of filework elsewhere. Only you would label it pinky jimping! :D

I find that some "in-hand" photos help to put things in perspective.

Night Man.

DPhillips.

NWA.

CBryant.

great pics once again mike. thanks for putting them up.. i really like the looks of CBryants and DPhillips...:)

I am really looking forward to following this thread/review/showcase. These knives appear to be a rather eclectic gathering of designs and materials (each beautiful in their own right). I think many of us would love to be in a position to experience several of these first hand and gain appreciation for the function of each.

It will be interesting to see how they are compared/scored...there appears to be a lot of diversity in the designs.

Wow, some great looking blades Mike!!! That Koyote really sings to me…but I must also say that Chuck Cook knife is an absolute functional beauty! I now have Chuck’s website book-marked.

HEY!! Can we discuss as we go which of these makers is going to be at Blade Show, and try to plan to meet up in the pitt? I'd like to meet everyone I can from this forum. (I've already met a few, and even like that Canadian, named Rick.)

Really agree with Andy (not the crush he has on Rick:D) about meeting some of these makers at the 2011 blade show. My son and I are looking forward to the next show…I may just get a room so I can hang out in the pit with esteemed WSS crew:thumbup:
