Anyways. I, for one, am glad that we have ER here. This forum was a constant state of chaos of idiots spouting off and trolling for the hell of it. While we managed to control it to an extent (hell go look at the mohunter92 thread), ER takes that control to a new level.
On a side note, here's a pic I posted on instagram the other day. The Zealots choil reminds me of Striders to be honest. I'll try to get in an in hand picture posted later today.

So then what you're saying is, you would have spewed even more stupid than ER? It is very common for people to strive for higher goals by raising the bar, whereas you apparently delight in lowering it....

If any reading and comprehension rejects refuse to actually "read" what I've written, supported through fact , then re iterated ad infinitum, do not be surprised when your words are thrown back in your face and your head slammed back into the cyber -wall.

Typically I would disregard comments from the herd, but you seem to be issuing some sort of "challenge". Call it a character flaw, but I am always compelled to step right up to those, not disregard them. Tell ya what, after you've hooked yourself up to a car battery to jump -start the synapses so that they fire off inside your single brain cell, give it your best shot. To the few reasonable , free thinking individuals on this thread I apologize. Despite earlier , false claims I have yet to call names, but hold no intention of taking more stupid from lazy, rigid , one dimensional group-thinkers.

Eagerly awaiting more run -on sentences and one dimensional, disjointed thought. More fun than a root-canal.........

Bummer I go down to the VA Hospital to see a specialist, the war of works flames up, and I fell like double crap. MIC77 this is the Emerson sub forum, Emerson knives are talked about here. Sorry but you flame Emerson here,it is not tolerated, IMHO to spew anti Emerson Venor, not to critique but just to talk trash.

IMHO if you live in the USA and can build a better mouse trap, or folding tactical knife. Get a SBA Loan, and just do it. If you have some special offering, the world will be at your door step to buy your knife, if it is only same old, same old thing, and cheap enought go to Bentonville, Arkansas. Hit up Wal-mart to buy your super knife.
 
There have been plenty of arguments here over the years about various issues and differing points of view.
I myself have voiced opinions about various things, not all of which were agreed with by many people.

The difference is that I (and others) didn't insult each other...we stuck to a discussion of the knives and their features.
Which meant that although we largely ended the discussion holding most of the views we entered with, it was not an unpleasant experience. :)

The ad hominem straw men have been submitted by you and the other herd members, not me. It is amazing what happens when someone does not dumb themselves down and submit to group think . I simply responded to them. I've appealed to no ones emotion here because like your it is rampant and out of control. I would appeal to better judgment but that is in short supply on this aspect of the Forum starting with it's Mod.

BTW I'm not going anywhere dude, I'm here to stay. So if you and the other herd members wish to play like gentlemen I'm amenable. Otherwise you'll get exactly what you give, nothing less.

That's as close as I'm gonna' get to being ill-tempered with you waveone, not that the reasonable person standard wouldn't allow it.

I'd hazard a guess that an attitude adjustment will occur or else this prophecy will end up incorrect.

OM, do you not seethe hypocrisy in your own post? IF, that is a Huge IF you are the least bit objective it will be Painfully clear that you've got the matter Backwards. I do not expect anyone to agree with me, yet the mere fact that I do not carry the same perspective here as everyone else , nor take the side of ER who is clearly condescending , berating and weak in his character, I get maligned, repeatedly. IF you or anyone here expects that I will take the avalanche of stupid in the form of false accusation, maligning commentary, name calling- like troll and not respond or just fade into the night, you've got it wrong sir.

Add to this endless nonsense that follows because several here take issue that I do not agree with the herd and suddenly I am marginalized. Yet you all take offense when I throw it back. As I stated, this is quid pro quo.

Wrong. The only way that will happen is IF ER abuses his position and issue another infraction without due cause.

I've called no names , used no foul language, racial or social epithets, sexually explicit language or anything that could be construed as out of line with forum rules. Nor did I start this little conflagration. I simply "voiced" an opinion and that started the avalanche.

On the other hand I've been called a troll, and sustained abuse from folks with herd mentality because I do not blindly repeat the mantra here.

I've already sent this matter to BF for their oversight. So we'll see.

waveone, did you read how this thread started? The OP titled this thread "wtf Emerson". If I were to actually spell out that meaning I would get an infraction for foul language. He came here with his own valid opinions just as everyone else. The difference is he came into Emerson's BFC House and said "WTF you!" From the title I expected to see some lock rock or something else actually wrong with an Emerson, not someone spouting their negative opinions about the knives and how he runs his (successful) company.

There are ways of expressing your opinions without alienating yourself.

Look at it this way, if you went to the Hinderer forum and started a thread saying "what the hell, I love Hinderers designs and all but I want one I can afford. I don't have $400-$700 to spend on a folder. Just use 154cm or D2 and a steel lock then I could afford it. Oh well, I'll just stick with the KAI offerings from now on so suck it." See any parallel? Emerson is catering to clientele like the OP by branching out and partnering up with KAI for their new lines. No need to come in here and complain.

Like most everything else in this thread, these are just my opinions.

No hate intended on Hinderers either, gorgeous knives with devout follows hence the comparison.

Candidly, if I were a Moderator here, you would already have been warned about your insults and possibly even given a "time out". Not because you don't agree with the majority of Emerson lovers in the Emerson subforum, which is a frankly questionable place to make a anti-Emerson stand, but rather, for you blatantly calling out the subforum Moderator publicly. In fact, I believe I would have already enrolled you in BANNED CAMP.

And frankly partner, I tend to be a easy-to-get-along-with type, food for thought when you stop trying to sound smart.
