I received this M38 directly from Andre a few months ago and have carried it a few times. I can tell that the handrubbed finish just isn't for me because I really can't bring myself to use it. This model has the "fan" pattern milled black/blue G10 handles which are both aesthetically pleasing and very functional. Blade is N690 steel and rides on IKBS for super smooth, fast flipping action. Blade is centered and lock up is solid. The liners are anodized purple. Comes with CoA and pouch straight from Andre. There are a few small blemishes on the blade that came that way from the maker.
I am looking for customs of equal value, or high end midtechs. I prefer 3.5" and over for blade length, Ti handles. Nothing too overbuilt, I prefer slimmer knives as a whole.
