Got a user Busse NO-E for trade. It's my last Busse I own. It's a user... it's got scuffs and scratches. It's been sharpened and is currently razor sharp. It's got some discoloration on the blade. It's always been there. It was there when I removed the coating. Don't know if it's like the parkerized finish you see under some Busse coats or just some discoloration they covered up with the coating. Probably could polish out if you were willing to put in the elbow grease or had the right tools to bead blast it or give it a satin finish. Cuts well, feels good. Still has coating around the handle area to protect it from hand sweat and salt. comes with sure ugly but functional kydex sheath made by me. And a Busse OD Green nylon old school belt sheath.
My IDEAL trade would be for a user Busse SHSHII in A2. I just like A2 tool steel. Now I have no idea what those are going for so I may have just asked for the impossible. But last I checked a Steel Heart in INFI was worth more than a Steel Heart in A2. But Busse values change all the time. I will also consider a Badger Attack in A2. That might be an even crazier statement value wise. I can kick in some money as long as it isn't a crazy amount. If these older A2 models are worth a fortune never mind. But I really am looking for something in that 7.5" blade range.
I'll listen to other offers in the 7.5" blade range. I'm in no hurry to get rid of this knife. But I'm not really interested in trading this knife for 2 or 3 other knives. I just don't need them.
