I have three Busse's that I am wanting to trade off. I have a Bushwacker Battle Mistress in the Competition Finish with black and tan (although it looks red) canvas micarta handles, with a factory convex edge. It was cleaned to a hilt yesterday with a super concentrated cleaning agent that made it have a super dull appearance... I didn't like that (and figured there was absolutely no oil for protection left on it) so I used some of my stupidly expensive firearms protectant on it (3 stage tungsten disulfide dry lubricant) with a long rub down, and that gave it the appearance you see in the pictures I took about 30 minutes ago. This knife is to be considered used since I have cut some tape from boxes with it (that's all however). The edge is factory, still able to shave hair with, and has not been touched. This particular BWM was only offered at two shows, and was not a regular order item from Busse.
I am *only* looking for a Hinderer XM18 3.5", or an XM24 in trade for the Bushwacker Battle Mistress.
I also have a Heavyheart (.272" thick measure with calipers) Steelheart Ergo with a black blade, and black canvas micarta handles (they look black and tan), and a polished spine front to back. This knife was sold to me as new, and I haven't used it to cut anything (I use my all black one). There is some sheath wear on the blade, the coating is still there, but it is shiny in spots under the right light. There is some wear on the lower part of this knife on the left side (you can see in the pictures). The coating has started to rub back on the bottom below the handles. This happened because I took the knife to a photo shoot with some of our firearms (I'm a gunsmith), and it slipped between the front seat and my middle console, and that part was rubbing against my seatbelt locks......
I am *only* looking for a Hinderer XM18, an XM24, or a nice SMF for the HHSHE.
Lastly, I have a Team Gemini Light Brigade in tanker gray with black canvas micarta handles (they look black and gray) that is new, never cut anything, never been carried, I basically bought it for well... no reason at all I guess other than to have it....
