I have a lightly used ESEE 6 with standard issue sheath. I've used it a little. I tried batoning, and it worked great. Whittled a bit, sharpened it.
I was using it on some drawers in the house and nicked it on a screw, you can kind of make it out in that close pic. There's black sap staining the edge, I figured it would come out as you sharpen the blade. The black coating is a little worn from the batoning.
I'd like to get a BK 16, maybe with some micarta scales.
