The Hawthorne is a new model for 2015, this is the second one ever made (not counting the prototype) and is stamped with a #2 on the reverse of the blade (Dave only serial #s the first ten of any model). It's a beautiful knife and completely flawless aesthetically and functionally; The action is smooth, centering perfect, lockup wicked early/absolutely solid and the hollow ground blade is shaving sharp. Beautiful blasted/tumbled finish on blade and frame , custom milled clip and blue anodized pivot. Comes in a custom otter box signed by Mr. Rydbom. Specs per Dave: S30v blade, OAL when open is 7.25" (blade is just shy of 3.5"), made from .187" thick Ti so she's very stout, but ground thin to be a slicer.
