Busse user SH-E around .26" thick INFI Steel. Tick over 7.5" blade scale to tip. Greenish quilted micarta scales. Original OD Green nylon sheath with plastic/kydex insert. I've put an insanely sharp highly polished convex edge on it. Brought the tip down maybe 1/256th or 1/128th at most as it was a little blunted it seemed. It's nice and pointy now. But not so much as to have a weak tip. LOTS of beef behind it. I can promise you it'll be one of the sharpest knives you've ever handled. And SO ready to bite into something. Coating has some good wear on it. It's a user... it's ready to work.
This was before I polished the edge.
This is a custom piece Mr. Siegle made for me a while back. It's about as massive a chopper as you're going to find. The blade is about 14" .25" thick differentially heat treated 5160. Handle is about 15" inches long and the blade is 3" WIDE at it's widest point (just before the tip sweep). Black one piece G10 handle scales and kydex sheath. It is an axe, spear, sword, knife, lance, halberd, prybar, hammer, boat paddle, and shovel all in one. Make a great survival tool. Skull crusher pommel is parallel to tip and it's actually got a good balance. The curve of the handle gives this thing amazing chopping ability. Just like an axe. But it is linear tip to top so it's still good for thrusting as well. It's handle geometry is semi-oval like an Axe handle. VERY comfortable. I remember Mr. Siegle saying he liked how the handle turned out so much he was gonna use the same geometry in some of his other knives. It's more graceful than it looks, but it's not for someone with limited upper body strength.
(TRADE PENDING TO s_teve20)Blind Horse Knives Bushcrafter. I think this one might be a custom. The list these as 3/32" O1... this is around 5/32 or .15". Beefy blade and very sharp. I've cleaned it up as it had some patina on it. So I'll get some fresh pics but here it was as of a few days ago. It is used but hardly. It's ready for decades of hard use. OD Green Micarta and fish eye bolts. Shaving Sharp.
Strider WP that was customized by Chase Axinn. It was set in a carved black micarta handle and pinned with stainless pins. It's got a thumb groove in back and hand filed finger grooves in the index finger position and on the back of the pommel for your thumb in reverse grip. Few marks on the blade but overall in nice condition. Simple, kydex sheath. It's 3/16 S30V made by Strider. It feels great in the hand and still has the factory edge grind. It's a great little knife.
