Although I really dig my VECP 2, I'm just not carrying it because I'm alternating between my Strider SMF's (and CRK Large Sebenza 21).
That being said, I'm out to trade it for one of two knives I've been wanting to acquire:
Strider SMF-CC S30V flamed/striped (it's the only combination I don't already have…could possibly be a Lego)
Chris Reeve Large Sebenza 21 DAMASCUS blade (I already have Large 21 in Micarta and a plain 25)
The VECP 2 is virtually flawless. Any visible "imperfections" in pics are just artifacts from reflections. I'm the second owner. Was sent out to Les to repair two stripped screws pocket clip from previous owner and given the once over and I haven't carried it since.
Previous owner replaced back spacer with blue anodized standoffs and put a killer mirror Wicked Edge on it.
Lock up is solid and around 80%. Super smooth. Just an all around awesome knife and I don't feel like being the first guy to muck it up!
