want to trade my Les George VECP fixed blade made with 3V steel. never cut anything before. however it has some marks on the blade from going in and out of the kydex sheath. it did come with these sheath rubbing marks when i first got the blade from Les. it came super sharp from Les and has never been sharpened. i am the first owner of the knife and it was shipped to me directly from Les George. You can check out more details about the knife on his site. the knife came with just the blade and sheath. i will throw in the large tek lok (worth bout $15) with the knife as well.

since fixed blades just dont see enough carry time in my EDC rotation, i am looking for a folder of similar value to trade for this fixed blade. Folder must be in good condition. dont mind lightly used knives but NO abused ones. dont mind +/- cash as long as its not too much.

knife is located in Montreal, Canada but i go down to the US at least once a week and have a US shipping address so trades within Canada or the US wont be an issue at all. no cross border shipping will be needed.

here's some info on the knife from Les' webpage:
These fixed blades are build in the same value system as
the VECP folders. Give less to get more done.

,178 thick CPM 3V blade, heat treated to 60Rc then
triple cryoed for extra performance.

Since 3V is a carbon steel we had to do something to
prevent corrosion, Armoloy Hard Chrome is the key
here.

The blades are CNC flat ground and then hand
sharpened by me.

Ken Brock was good enough to lend his skills to this
project, hand making all the kydex.

The kydex sheaths are set up for Tech-Lock carry (not
included) This gives the end user the ability to pic out
their own carry method with out me adding the cost of a
tech-lock to the cost of the project. Half the people
would just toss them anyway....

Once again, I thank you all for your support!

I've had my eye on one of these for a while now. I have an Emerson Horseman (mini cqc8) which I carry every day. I'd be willing to put it up for trade if you would be interested. It's pretty much perfect except for the slightest of nicks on the edge towards the tip. I have the original box as well. Let me know if this would be of interest. I'm in Hamilton, ON.
