So I got this GEC Tidioute Sheepfoot Barlow in Smooth White Bone. It's the Sawyer Barlow commissioned by Charlie Champagna. It came with no edge so I had to send it in to the factory. It came back today, and WOW!!! This is a beautiful knife. The blade shows no signs it had to be sharpened (no scratches etc.) other than a sharp edge. The Scales are beautiful and fit perfect. The action is smooth and solid. If I didn't want to get a lot of use out of it, I would keep this knife for sure. However, I think a little belly would be more useful. So I am looking for either a single blade with belly or a double blade with a straight and pen blade (or the like). I am most interested in GEC and especially Tidioute, but I will consider any offer. I am intrigued by swaybacks. I also will take offers of modern knives, but I'm not sure exactly what I'm looking for. I know I would like a sheepfoot full size Griptilian (550HG). I don't know much about the value of traditionals so be fair with me and I will make it a good trade for both of us if I can.

If interested please email me at ALLHSS320@gmail.com (or through the forum, it goes to the same place. I can get Pm's but I don't prefer them).
Here are some pics (I only have my iPod righ now to take pics):

As a side note, GEC's customer service is great. I appreciate that, especially since they are so close to where I live (>1hr) and somewhere that I have been many times. I look forward to when I can go to the factory, and to when I can buy more of their knives (as I hope to).

Nice. A single-blade sheep's foot Barlow. How rare is that?

I don't know really. I know a few things: 1, it was commissioned by an individual "Charlie Champagna" so it was a relatively limited number. 2, it is no longer being made so what is out there is what is out there.
