Not sure if you would call this a Helles Bells or not. It doesn't have the clip point but it does have one of the most incredible points of any knife I've personally owned. Estate sale score. Looks to have been stored in its sheath for a few years. I rescued it about seven years ago and it's been a mainstay of my cowboy shooting getup. It's no safe queen but it's an outstanding knife. An early version with his Master Smith stamp on it and original sheath. I'm looking for something different. Let me know what you've got. Value on this thing is unknown to me. I've seen what they bring in mint condition on Arizona Customs but other than that I'm clueless. Hence trading rather than selling. Thanks for lookin.

Wow, prepare to get some amazing offers for this thing. I wish I had a knife valuable enough to offer in trade for this. Bagwell is legendary among bowies, the excalibur of bowie knives.

You should contact Bill Bagwell and ask him. To me it is his interpretation of an early dog bone Bowie. I suggest you also check on the Voyles form on here. I would say minimum value is $ 1000 and it could be a $ 2000 + knife.

Thanks Murindo. I've considered contacting Mr Bagwell but I know he's getting on in years and maybe not in the best of health. Just what I hear but I would love to get in contact with him if anyone has an email( if he's into such things). Phone number would work as well.
BTW blade thickness is 0.29".
