I've two I rarely carry that I'd like to trade for one of the GEC Tom's Choice barlows.
The knives for trade:
Queen #44 folding hunter, 5 1/4" closed, maple burl handles, D2 saber-ground blade. Has been used, blade was partially convexed. Burl is decently figured, deep silvery gray. I will supply pictures on request. Very nice user knife, just not my taste with the D2.
GEC Tidoute #56 weaver jack, 3 1/2" closed, rust red Micarta scales with easy-open notch, 1095 softly curved hawkbill blade. There are some scratches from sharpening and use, but would polish out easily if that's your wish. Light and pocketable, I'm just not a fan of hawkbills. Pictures will be supplied on request.
Make me an offer! I'd love to put a barlow to work, and I'm sure these two can work for you!
- Handle material- unimportant
- Blade configuration- two blades a must, clip blade preferred, spear or sheepsfoot OK
- Condition- used okay, patina okay.
