Got a super rare blade here. Everyone is familiar with Rob's swords but the O-Tanto's don't come around often at all. Took me forever to find one. And I'm not 100% on getting rid of it. It is 99.999% mint. It has a few stray marks on it from the kydex scabbard but it's got the factory edge and has never been used to cut anything other than paper. It's razor sharp BTW. This blade IS your CQB short sword. Blade is around 12" and handle is around 7".
I have rubberized heat shrink over the handle to give it sort of a Kraton feel. The cord wrap is 100% perfect underneath. It's just a slip on cover.
This thread will probably go nowhere as I want to trade for another Criswell sword just larger. My ideal piece is one of the long handled wakis he did. Something with a 16" to 24" blade with around a 10" to 12" handle. Will consider other Japanese style swords but I'm gonna hesitate to trade this towards any Chitana. I'd really like to stick with a Criswell in A2.
