Hello fellow BladeForums members,
I have a few knives that I'd like to see if I can trade for some on my list to get. I had another thread open, but with edits and more knives to add, it's much cleaner to open this new one. Pictures are available upon request, and email is the best way to contact me.
I would ideally like to trade for knives on this list, LNIB condition or better:
>CRK folders (would trade multiple for)
>Spyderco Caly 3.5 Superblue
>Spyderco Sprint Run Military (would trade multiple for)
>Brous Blades Silent Soldier Flipper (would trade multiple for)
>I would also trade a knife or knives as payment for custom work to a Spyderco Police 3 G10, if there are any interested knife makers/customizers who would make scales, preferably C-Tek or Carbon Fiber.
For trade, I have the following, all plain edge:
<TRADED>Spyderco Military Titanium: this is one of the original Titanium Military's, without the lockbar insert - not very common anymore. This is lightly used, but could easily pass as LNIB. It still has the factory edge, I've only stropped it, and I must say, it is by far the sharpest factory edge I've seen on a knife. Aside from a very faint scratch on the end of the pocket clip, I cannot find a thing wrong with this knife. I absolutely love this knife, so it may be difficult to get from me, though for the right trade, I could give it up.
<TRADED>Kershaw Blur S30V Customized: this knife has been carried once, but hasn't cut anything but paper. The factory edge has been stropped. It has been customized with the carbon fiber inserts from the 1670CF154. The combination is one I think to be ideal, especially for those who prefer S30V. The carbon fiber inserts look great, and are a huge improvement over the stock Trac-tek.
<TRADED>Spyderco Domino: LNIB. Factory edge stropped. I actually love this knife, but it is a little small, and for the right knife, I could give it up.
<TRADED>Benchmade 810 Contego: this knife has been lightly carried. The only signs of wear are a few faint marks in the clear Cerakote. It is one of the smoothest knives I own - rivaling my Sebenza.
<TRADED>Bradley Kimura VIII Balisong: LNIB. The knife has been flipped a bit, but has not cut anything. The factory edge has been stropped, and Nano-Oil has been applied to the pivots. This knife is very nice and smooth, but since it is not a realistic EDC knife for me, I am better to trade it towards something that is.
<WITHDRAWN>CRKT Large Eros Titanium: LNIB. The knife has been carried twice as a suit knife, but has not cut anything. It has been stropped. Blade is perfectly centered, fit&finish is great, and it opens nearly as fast as an automatic with the flipper, strong detent, and light blade.
<TRADED>Benchmade 9101 Autostryker: LNIB. Factory edge stropped. Carried it once, only used to cut tape to open a couple of packages. The blade is centered, the spring is strong, and the lockup is solid. Really like this knife, but would be willing to give up for or towards a knife on my list.
As I said, pictures are available upon request. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Thank you all for looking!
Best,
Thomas
