Potentially interested in trading my Tops Hog 4.5. There is so much I like about this knife, but I want to put it out there and see what else is out there. Knife addiction is a serious condition. What I am reallyh looking to trade for is an LT. Wright GNS (saber grind) or other bushcraft style knives, basically in the market for a good belt knife. I am also looking for Diving Sparrow knives (Can also add cash). Open to all offers for fixed blades, but not really looking for folders. Man I forgot all about this. My HOG 4.5 has been well loved in the year since posting this so doubtful you would be interested in it. I don;t even think I could give this knife up, we're like war buddies at this point. I very much recommend this knife, a great companion that can do ALOT for you and is damn comfortable. I like it so much I want to get one of the designers customs.

I've negotiated a trade for a BOB instead, but I am still interested in getting one of these in hand. I first came across the design via the original custom and was surprised and happy to see it picked up by Tops so that those of us not ready to spend on the custom could at least try out the design. I am glad to hear that it has served you well :)

It's a knife that grew on me. At first I was like this is okay and the ergo's don't immediately feel as amazing as that long ass story in it's listing would seem to be, but when you use it you get it. It feels great in use. I've tried a lot of companion blades and as to favorite's it's a toss up between the HOG 4.5 and my old GSO 4.1. The HOG 4.5 feels better in hand, and that's what makes me gravitate towards it over the 4.1 (despite being in my TOP 5). Super steels are great, but ergos for me are king (I messed up my hands good last year so this is essential). It's a tough little bastard of a knife. Looking forward to try the new S!K handles though. As a side note, the stock sheath is terrible, but if you do keep that BOB and get a HOG the HOG will fit in the BOB kydex sheath perfectly.
