Hello all,
For your consideration is a Walter Brend Marauder I recently picked up. I'm not convinced I want to give up the folder, but like many of you, I am a tinkerer with my collection. The hand-ground blade features deep hollow grinds, satin finish, and dual thumb studs. The blade is housed in a titanium stonewashed frame with krayton inlays and black G-10 back spacer. This folder has been lightly carried and has a scratch near the pivot screw I tried to capture with pictures. It's not crazy, but it's there. Otherwise the knife is in great shape.
Above all, this folder is smooth! The IKBS bearing system includes 36 bearings which lets this blade fly open with authority. Lock-up is solid, and blade is centered. The only reason I am considering trading it is because I have a different acquisition on the way that shares similar build characteristics. That said, the action on this blade is so remarkable I genuinely consider keeping the folder as a safe queen just to have it for play. All things considered though, it might be best to set this great Brend Marauder free so someone else can enjoy it.
I am pretty open regarding trade options. I would prefer to stay in the same general class of folders and/or flippers, i.e. Hinderer, Olamic, Zieba, etc. Really though, I love to discover new knives, so surprise me! I'm happy to work with most people and worst I can do is pass. Please see the description of the Brend below, along with pictures. Lastly, thanks in advance for your time and consideration!
