I have two WWII Collins machetes.
First up is a 1939-1941 Collins Legitimus model 128. The 128 was put into production for the war in 1937 but my sources state this one should date to between 1939 to early 1941. Late in 1941 they changed the tang stamp to include the year it was made so it is definitely pre-1941 or made during the early part of 1941.
Next up, Collins model 164. Was told it was a WWI ear machete as well but I don't know much about it. It is thinner and lighter than the 128 and slightly longer.
Open to trades for modern knives. Spyderco, Benchmade, Rat, Ontario, Scrapyard, etc. A tomahawk would be cool. Shoot me some offers. These are worth a lot to WWII colectors but I would rather have something I could use everyday.
