The 551 has a satin Plain Edge.

The 882 has a highly textured FRN type plastic handle which looks like G10 until you feel it. Very strong handle.

I may be wrong, but I believe the Buck-Strider series only comes in the plastic handles.

Dutch, I have a NIB kershaw $30V Blur I wouldn't mind trading for the BM 551. I just didn't care for the Assited Opening on the Blur. Let me know if the Blur interests you.

Wunderbar, are the Trac-tec inserts on your blur the rubber ones or the sandpaper-like ones? I know they recently changed them.

It has sandpaper on one side and rubber on the other.
