It would be worth your trip. Where he is- is my favorite area in the whole state. He's lucky to be able to live up there! I'm about 4 hours from there and still go there any chance! Fishing. Hands down the best backpacking in the state. Hunting. All of the Mon is great but that general area right in there is outstanding.

That looks that a pretty darn comfy rig to carry:thumbup: Like a reverse dundee sorta.

Too bad I am way over here in the west coast. I would love to head out there for some fishing, hunting, and wood destruction :D
 
Ooops!

didn't mean to leave .....its just that after the Hogtinni link and the suggestions for improvement that I tried .....left me dragging after little ones got home, fed, washed, we did feed the fish , caught a couple, and some swing time and put em to bed.

Martinis had me spinnig but the wifes spagehetti wiped me out.


THanks to all the other WV loyalist and their pics .. mighty fine.

THe Hog Round up is getting planned... its a must. We have multiple options too dependig on each Hog's circumstances.

We can tent, plus they're is lodging close by as well.

I will start another thread on Hog Round-up for input and time preferences etc.

Lost a good pair of NWTF britches;)

Elkins is within 12 hrs of 2/3 of the US. Perty cool figure from their Camber of Commerce.

I would say its probably 7-8 hrs. Mapquest to Elkins, WV Its about 9-10hrs from Elkins,WV to Atlanta
