I have a question about the size of the 16.5" and 18"WWII's. Are the blades roughly the same length, and the only difference being the 18" has a longer handle(making up for the 1.5")? I have an 18" WWII and have noticed the handle is longer than my other khukuris, allowing for different hand holds. Thanks

IMHumbleO, it seems as though blade size and shape is determined more by kami, than by khuk type - though a general pattern is followed.
My Bura handles are all larger than my Kumar handles - which are thinner and longer than the norm.
