I am a new customer at howesknifeshop and just got the 5 star treatment on an order for a Camo Millie. I had emailed and asked if they would check the knife over for me (centering, blade lock up) and pick one with a fairly even camo pattern.

So I've dealt with online merchants before who would not check over the knife before shipping, I have even been told to take my business elsewhere if I needed a knife to be checked! Needless to say I did not use that dealer.

Contrast that with Jim at howesknifeshop. Not only did Jim agree to check the blade over for me, he took a picture of 4 knives he really liked, emailed it to me, and told me to pick the one I wanted.

Truthfully I was blown away. I buy a lot of knives, and I have never been offered that kind of service from an online dealer. Most the time I am just holding my breath wondering if the dealer can even be bothered to check the blade over for me.

So if you are in the market for a Camo Millie, here are a few to choose from, all except the 3rd from left. ;)

Jim is at the top of my list for dealers. I have bought a half dozen or more knives from him and he has given me the most exceptional service I have ever received from a knife dealer. He is quick to respond to inquiries and just an all around good person to deal with.

Every purchase I make on production knives will be done through Jim unless he does not have the item I need. This is a case to me where the mom and pop shop is still alive and well! :thumbup:
 
+1 for Jim. Didn't talk to him directly but I got my order in record speed. Will shop there again!
 
Hi new to the forum..I had just used the 90 same as cash on a few items and was pleased with his prompt attention. I only buy from a couple of select online dealers and at this moment thy are one of them. I like the 90 day plan because you can throw a few bucks at a time on it and soon enough you are paid and guilt free.
 
Jim is an excellent person to deal with.

Bit of a workaholic though since hes replying to email at 4am :p

Great man and will buy from again when more money comes into hand :D

Just received my first order from Howe's. The knife was shipped promptly, and Jim sent a confirming e-mail with the tracking number as promised. I am entirely satisfied with my experience. :thumbup:
 
Yet another +1 for Jim and the crew over at Howesknifeshop.com

I've purchased a few knives from them, and the last purchase was the best yet. It's nice to be able to call a company/store and talk to a normal person in a timely manner, and have your questions answered professionally and thoroughly. They'll get my business in the future, for sure. :thumbup:

I had preordered one of the para2's from Jim and he had them in stock for a week before he called me with apologies for
Shipping it out sooner. Best customer service around. I will certAinly be returning very often.
 
Just received an order from Jim, two thumbs way up guys! Fast email correspondence and shipping, well packaged and great prices. What more can you ask for?
