I recently placed an order from www.the-knife-connection.com

The order was shipped out very quickly--same day!

When I recieved the package a couple of days later, it looked like the package had been run over by the mail truck. The package was damaged and ripped open and the contents were missing. As it turns out there were several other people who recieved damaged mail that day as well. So it was 100% the USPS fault on this.

I contacted Dale Stoops, Owner of --www.the-knife-connection.com

He immediately sent another package out to me and I recieved it safe and sound a couple of days later.

This is EXCELLENT service! The prices are great, service is superb and the shipping is lightening fast. I encourage everyone to support a company such as this.

By the way, I love my Izula II!

Dale is fantastic. So far I have only ordered twice from him. Great service, super fast shipping, and great prices have won me over.

Same for Dale and shipping to Canada... i suspect the guy delivering it with a private jet!
big thumbs up for TKC

I think the first time I ordered from Dale, it was like Wednesday really late at night. The box was on the doorstep Friday before lunch. Dale is good people.

I too can't say enough good things about Dale. I've dealt with him quite a few times over the years. Always exceptional service!!

His service, prices and contributions to the forum are great. I also hear his custom handles are wicked awesome so I'll probably grab a pair to support someone who helps support others.

When I have ordered from Dale in the past he sent it in a plain mail-type big envelope without padding. If there was to be ANY criticism, it would be to use a heavier padded envelope or box to ship knives. One order was just some accessory pouches (warranted an envelope) and the other an esee-3mil-s with some tek-loks. He very well may use boxes if the order warrants it but it wasn't like I was ordering an ESEE-5, ESEE-6 and a Junglas.

I could see those long envelope's getting caught in sorting machines and getting ripped. That.....or being able to easily tell what's inside so someone's sticky fingers can decide they want this big, long knife-like object.

Definitely not trying to stir anything up, I just thought something like this might happen with long, hard objects shipped in envelopes when I received my 3mil. I haven't heard anyone with anything bad to say about Dale and my experiences with him have been great.

Good to know... bookmarked the site.

Always nice to have a list of awesome knife retailers!

Dale is great! I order all my ESEE things from him! Great service, great prices and if you ever need anything give him a call or e-mail him....

We just need to get after him to update the pictures on his site :P

I have bought both of mine from Dale and he has been great to work with both times.

Coming from a retail management background myself, and recognizing how difficult it is to truly try and stay in touch with all my customers while still growing your business, it was really impressive to see a handwritten "Thank you" from Dale on my invoice when I received my 6 from him. That's that little extra that so many people forget, but when you see it, it means a lot.

His prices are spot on, selection is amazing, and the customization options he offers on ESEE products are second to none. My only criticism, as others have mentioned before, is the quality of the shipping. It is free shipping, so I can't complain too much, but my 6 was delivered in one of those plastic-type USPS bags. I had no issues, and shipment was lightning quick, but I could see a problem or two arise as noted before my post.

I just got off the phone with Dale placing my request for the second line of HEST folders. Waiting for my ESEE 4 to arrived...and my Izula...and whatever I'm about to go and order now.
