With only 24 hours to live, and the caveat "financial means to do whatever you wanted," I would assume that whatever I wanted would be readily available by the time I reached my final 24. With only 24 hours to live, that's free reign to partake in anything risky, as long as it's worth it.

I've had an interest in marine biology. I'd use my funds to purchase a deep sea submersible vehicle and crash course through its basic operation, then proceed to depths unexplored to man. The vehicle must be equipped with video and photographic devices and feeds, and perhaps a few specimen recovery containers. There won't really be any provisions for vehicle recovery, though any data recorded will be retrievable.

My main goal would be to document everything I see down there, the environment, the fauna, etc. I couldn't guarantee that I'd find something new, but hell, I'll try,

Once everything's ready, I'd go on a one way trip down, recording my findings and transmitting them to the surface. That can be accomplished using detacheable beacons with onboard harddrives, which would be pressure-protected and fully water sealed, in addition to having signaling devices that would allow researchers to locate them. If I die down there, well then, the sea will be my grave and the sub my casket.

As for the knife name: the Magnum GunHammer.
 
I would spend the 24 hours in the last of the 7 wonders, the great pyramid of Giza. I would also ensure that when I died I would be embalmed and the pyramid would become my tomb and be buried like an ancient pharoah (who says you can't take it with you!)

And can only do one thing, I'd try to spend it all. ;)

I'd go to Russia and rent fighter jets with bomb loadouts if possible.

At the end of the 23.8 hours my near vertical climb in the jet would end and I would aim that sucker at the ground with afterburners maxed out, with the automated warning system in the cockpit blaring, lights flashing and the control tower operator probably would say "he's not getting his deposit back". Racing at the earth like a meteor. The first and last extraordinary plunge on the worlds tallest and fastest roller-coaster. I realize that ten minutes is a very long time when one is plunging towards the Eaths surface with afterburners at full power, but if I have an imposed 24 hour limit.... I hate being told what to do and I'd have to be a rebel and end it on my terms a few minutes early.

The second part of this contest is the hard part. My reaction to 3 or more words is to make it an acronym, most favorable to my for words containing gh are LIGHT, FIGHT, TOUGH and TIGHT, less desireable would be ARGH or UGH, so on the theme of usable acronyms I submit the following names.

Light Integral Gun Hammer, Titanium.
Fully Industrial Gun Hammer, Titanium.
Titanium Overt Use Gun Hammer.


a balanced acronym would be HGH.

Half-weight Gun Hammer.
Herculean Gun Hammer.
Harmonic Gun Hammer.
Hypnotic Gug Hammer.
Heathen Gun Hammer.
Hellborn Gun Hammer.
Hellish Gun Hammer.
Hades Gun Hammer.
Hells Gun hammer.
Holy Gun Hammer.
Hot Gun Hammer.
Possibly High-tech Gun Hammer.

As far as other non acronym related names, I'll have to think for a bit.

Adding another balanced name and not sucking up... the Harkamus Gun Hammer. I don't know you, but if you're naming something...

I would take my wife and kids to Australia, and go diving to see great white sharks.

It's something my daughter and I talk about doing one day.

So - in keeping with the theme:

Name: Megalodon Gun Hammer (or Mega Gun Hammer).

Some inspiration - a fossilized megalodon tooth next to a quarter (a BIG shark - and what sounds to be a BIG knife!)

I would take my wife and two boys on a supersonic jet (don't want to waste any time). We would travel somewhere warm, with amusment rides for kids and adults! Sky diving, scuba with sharks, and swim with dolphins. Make some great memories!

Call it the Gunhammer Peacemaker

I would fly every member of my family and friends first class to a central location for a family and friends reunion picnic and die surrounded by the most important people in my life, And give each person a DDR Gunhammer as a momento of the gathering.

It's kind of long but I like the sound of "Slammer Jammer Gun Hammer"

Were I to find out today that I had 24 hours and all the money in the world, I'd buy an old propellor plane and bomb various urban areas with water balloons with all my friends. We'd snack on crabcakes and steak during re-fueling runs. Oompa loompas would be hired to re-arm us.

DDR Raigeki Gun Hammer. Raigeki = lightning in Japanese (I think). Knife deploys lightning fast - and raigeki just sounds frekin awesome.
 
If I had 24 hours to live Id fly a jet to bora bora and relax in a hammock on the beach and of coarse Id be flicking a knife while swinging in the breeze :D

As for the name of the knife: "BFgunhammer" It think its self explanitory lol

I would fly to Alaska. Take a seaplane to a remote lake. Fish, enjoy pure nature, eat and drink with my best friends until the end.
The name of the knife should be Gun Hammer Monster Hunter

For real though I think I would want to go Island hopping with a Jet pack, either in the Caribbean or around Tahiti (anywhere tropical would be fine).

And for the knife. I would suggest the Dr. Gun Hammer
Dr. Gun Hammer sounds like a villainous comic book character. And DR is obviously Darrel's initials. Perfec.
 
I would fly my family and I to Europe and see as much as I could in a day. I have always wanted to go there and my wife has also. I like the Japanese theme and I would pick ikazuchi Gun Hammer or Thunder GunHammer.
 
I would take everyone I know,, including all my family members on a deluxe 5 star cruise...At the end of my 24 hrs I'd like a huge display of fireworks and after the ceremony its PARTY,PARTY,PARTY on me.....Then I'd always be remembered..

I'm thinking "GunHammer Torpedo-Ti " ...Not very imaginative, I was thinking about a marketable name....

As for the name of the knife, "Gun Hammer Phalanx".

And if you haven't been in the military or simply don't know what the Phalanx gun is, watch a video. You will be impressed. :)
