go!!! run like the wind bill marsh!!!
if everyone else catches on, ps4's gonna be made in china. psp is gettin creamed by nintendo ds, too. in japan, everyone plays the ds, no one cares about psp. all the little kids in the states want the psp simply because it looks so cool so if your kids ask for one, tell em they don't know what they're talkin about and get em a DS Lite instead. or make em carry around the slim ps2, a flat panel display, and a power supply.
i have both and love'm. mine mine mine. i play the psp more right now, having only got the DSlite a little while ago. i can't say i'm terribly impressed so far with the library on the DS, and it play the few GBA games i have as well. they're good, they're fun, they know how to have a GAME that exploits playing. that said, there's about 6 titles on the psp that are must plays, and you can't have them anywhere else - it IS nearly 2x as much. shrug. you want, you pay.
for my late xmas, i bought myself a nintendo Wii. i have to say, for $250, it's going to be a big win over the ps3. nintendo has always had wonderful hardware, playable games, and classics that stand the test of time. can't wait for some online action soon (built in wifi :>) plus it'll talk to my DS magically too. it even shipped with a really good game!
VS the ps3? it's nothing especially wonderful [yet] and i can't imagine it will be - just extra glorious graphics really. hah. plus the frame rate issues, overheating, recalls, and other glitches? nah.
the xbox360 i don't have [yet], the library looks good. there are two downloadable games any owner should get (imho). one is called "geometry wars" - super good retro fun. i have a free version for my computer, and sometimes i can't put it down for hours. the other one, if not out now, will be SOON. it's called "space giraffe" - a wild tempest like shooter. special bonus: it has a hack code that extends (fixes) the "light engine" for music/cd playback. the author left hooks, and has been working on that for years. here's the upgrade that microsoft didn't want :>
controllers. you can always buy after market controllers to fit your hands. extra small, or extra big. worth the $$$. don't blame the factory controllers on the poor game play (or yer skills ;>), and why get RSI? get what "fits"
game on!
