XM18 4th gen.

Hows does the fipper work on the 4th gens? Id assume since the detent is stronger the flipper works a lot better.
 
The flipper definately works better. It allows you to build a little tension and then BAM!, it's deployed. Equally, the thumb studs work just as effective. Compared to my Gen 3 it's night and day. I wouldn't say that it's better, but that it's just different. My Gen 3 is probably the most naturally (i didnt add lube or oil) fluid and fast but can't fire with authority without a tad of wrist motion. The Gen 4 just fires with authority without the use of wrist action. Plus, I can carry the 4 confidently tip up in my pocket.
