xtonesterx's yella peanut!

Thanks for the update! I like the look of this knife. The patina is well grown :)

Yeah, you and me both!

I gave away my last yella CXV 'nut, and every time I see a pic of one, I feel the urge to get another one. No matter that I have a nice chestnut bone and amber bone, there's just someting about a yella one with patina.

Carl.

looks good,to my shame I have never owned a peanut.Got one on order now, looking forward to the delivery.

Ditto. I haven't had a yeller one yet. I have a red CV and a Remington stainless, but no yeller CV. I don't know why not, I already have two other patterns in yeller, one of which I carried daily for about two years. I already know that I love the materials and the pattern, but I haven't combined them yet.
It's incredible how much of a bond we can form with certain items isn't it? I like a natural patina because of the bond it represents. Every spot, stain, scratch and ding that knife has brings back a memory.
Last time I lost my Peanut I went into a funk, like my pocket was empty and lifeless without my sharp little bundle of memories.

Gents, let's watch the language.

And if somebody slips, let's please amend the quote.

That is one special little knife, and it has really sparked my interest, haven't posted in quiet some time now. That little yella nut will take good care of you. I should really take pictures of mine to share. Thank you for your pictures.

This thread is making it really hard to resist the call of the Peanut. I kinda wish I hadn't given mine away now.
