Yes, I have given away one or 2. However, I have received one or 3 as well. I figure I'm behind.
Last one I gave away was a medium Victorinox, I forget the model, to a young family friend. He seemed pretty stoked that it was a genuine Victorinox.
Perhaps around there they mostly sell knockoffs - it wouldn't surprise me given the poor knowledge & service I recieved at the local military surplus place which is about the best knife shop they have in town.
Anyway, he'd bought himself a Muela pig sticker & I was showing him how to sharpen it using the SAK to demonstrate. It was a spare taken on holiday with a couple of others 'in case' that had been given to me in a job lot by a good friend, but it made his day.
