I know this isn't exactly knife related but it's forum related as I know many of you guys look at yahoo or ebay for knife auctions and many use paypal for payments through bladeforums, so I thought this would be somewhat relevant.
hi all here's a run down of what happened to me AND another guy on yahoo and through paypal
sent to paypal's fraud dept. the guy I sent the money to was not verified and they basically said they couldn't help me which I understood
"
I have a problem/query. I sent $265 to a paypal member
doglover911@techieguy.com
and $250
karla21@techemail.com
for a total of $515 dollars. It has been a week with no
communication from him and no reason given. He gave me an
address and I was wondering if you could verify/deny it or
provide me with his real address or some other way to contact
him. He is not verified and I understand you make no guarantees
about protection against fraud with unverified sellers. I do
know you have a farud department as you mentioned this to me when
I asked about it and said you could look into this matter.
the address is
Brandon Jones
129 N. Kachina St.
Mesa, AZ 85203
if you could confirm it or not that would help somewhat, any
other asisstance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your time.

check the negative feedback, he obviously didn't have that when I made the agreement with him on the transaction
here's the link to his two auctions, the first $500 one was the one we had agreed to, I have many emails confirming this transaction and all the receipts from the paypal payments.
the second one is another fellow who I have tried to contact, but not sure of his email. the reason I was unable to leave feedback was because yahoo's feedback system works on a by auction system where only once the auction is completed can you leave feedback if you are the high bidder.
can anyone help me? how would I pursue legal action if it is pursuable at all?
thanks for any help
