31inch 19 ounce Bura Nepolian Sword. (Still don't know where he came up with this name.) Perfect. Beautiful Osage Orange Handle. Excellently engraved metal scabbard. $195 UBBB

20 inch two puond Jange by Sher. Marked USA wood handle. There's a tiny chip on the handle that can be sanded into perfect condition in ten minutes but we'll sell this at a blem price. $95 UBBB

17 inch 24 ounce M43 by Amtrak. Marked USA wood handle. Pretty wood but I don't know what it is. It looks like the handle was dinged at BirGorkha and repaired. Still beautiful. Blem price $95. UBBB

15 inch 17 ounce Sirupati by Amtrak. Small grainline on handle that will never develop into anything. $55 UBBB

15 inch 24 ounce AK Bowie by Bura. 5 minutes rust removal. $85 UBBB

12 inch 12 ounce Dhankuta Kothomoda by Bura. US Deear antler and white metal handle. $95 UBBB

14 inch 17 ounce Seax by Sher with his usual features. Chandan handle. $95 UBBB

Aha! First one in!

Dayum...broke from the stuff over the last two weeks...

Someone buy the Koth before I sell my soul....

SLOOOOOOOW DAY!

Really like that sword with the engraved scabbard. I have a few swords, now, don't know what I would do with another. Darn!

Beautiful examples of HI/BirGorka craftsmanship!

Just curious... what is "white metal"? Is it just a term used when we don't know exactly what the metal is?

I don't know, but I'll bet it's nickle silver which is:
"A silvery, hard, corrosion-resistant, ductile, malleable alloy of copper, zinc, and nickel, used in tableware and as a structural material for hospital and restaurant equipment. Also called German silver."

Just a guess on my part.

Steve

Edited to add: Wow, what nice stuff the past few days!

Thank You Rio Jim...I just got home from work and that baby was history if it was still there!

That's one heck of a nice AK Bowie for $85!

Bura is really outdoing himself with those swords. And it's nice to see more of the exotic wood trickling down to us. :D

Good snag David! I set myself a time of midnight on that one. It's the a$$ whuppinest Bowie of all Bowies.

Sure wish I had the bux for that sword...

Is that M43 still around?

Don't know Bruise. No confirmations ie; 'gone' in response to 'email sent on - - - -'

I don't think Uncle is feeling very good and Yangdu , naturally is worried. Uncles care comes FIRST. BLESS HIM! AND YANGDU! It is a worrying time for both.

Does anyone know what's left? Would someone take what evers left so it doesn't tempt me? I need to buy a Belt/Disk sander, and my sisters wedding presant so please don't tempy me. LOL

Buy your sister a khuk. If she doesn't use it much, ask to borrow it in six months or so and never give it back....just kidding!!

LOL! good one Munk. Actually we have talked about knives as a wedding presant. She doesn't want a Khukuri, she asked me to buy her nice expencive kitchen knives. So will be heading to the Mall this evening to look at their selection of Henkles and other high end kitchen wear. She really likes the Highend kitchen knives. :D

Barb and me like the Due Buoi or Two Oxen Kitchen Knives from Italy. They're not well known here but are well known in Europe I understand.
I lost the website when my computer crashed but I'm sure you can Google them. Look for the USA dealer by the name of Wayne Clifton.:D
I bought Barbie a really nice set and we've been extremely happy with them!!!! :D
And they have a smooth steel to die for, Hard Chromed to 64 Rc and with a large convex on each side instead of the common round style that's grooved. Our son bought us one of those of good quality and so far that's all we've used to keep them sharp!!!!:D  :D
