Horse Pockey. One does not need to walk in a drug addicts boots to understand what schemes they will come up with to steal money to support their habit. Perhaps the best thing that could happen is he gets jailed and ordered to state mandated rehab.
Maybe a little time being bubbas girlfriend and intensive state therapy will finally be the thing that scares him straight enough to walk the straight and narrow. It may possibly save his life.

yes but how about that Vietnam or gulf war vet who is using drugs to cope with a mental illness and has lost their sense of right and wrong because there is not adequate help out there to keep them stable. I'm not saying what they are doing is right but until you've walked in their boots you have no right to judge.

Is he a thief? In this case, it matters little why a drug head is a thief. What matters is if he's a thief.
 
I think we are just about done here. Glad the OP got his money and glad that yanks did the right thing.
