I have been good. This week I have been at scout camp most of the time with my oldest. I have been wearing a kilt to embarrass him![]()
I blame the departure of Clich! And the fact that I'm just not very entertaining or interesting.![]()
Why do people hate so on the pommes frites?! They aren't french so what's the big deal?
:barf: I just threw up in my mouth a little.
Also, there's bad chips all over the edge, and an awful one on a the belly, about 1/8" deep! ...
I took it to my Sharpmaker, and in about 2 minutes it was paper cutting.....
Yeah there's new noobs like myself to the forum.
Sorry if I'm ruining your fun.
You ground out an 1/8" chip in 2 minutes on a stone? That's... snarktastic.![]()
Yeah, what he said. If I'm here 10 years, I'll still be unacceptable.....
Indeed! I didn't take it out, it's still very much a chip, however, I sharpened the "flat" spot in the chip, if that makes sense, I 'pushed' it back into shape.
Whatever! It cuts like a, um, well, it cuts better! :grumpy:![]()
Flat spot in the chip?
Hm, I'm not following.
However, you should definitely take it fully out, can cause issues later.
Think if the chip as a "C" shape. The steel is thicker at the back of the 'C', kinda flat. And I already took it out, but in a very short time it was "sharp".
I think I might just be too outgoing to learn about people and I'm relatively talkative especially about subjects I like such as computers, outdoors, guns, and of course knives.
Relatively?
Oh hush you.
I'm a friendly guy, the one who tells stories around fires with random people.
I was born in a generation that is connected but no one has affection, it's disappointing.
It's a shame a lot of my generation is out of touch.
In other news...
