As some of you may know, Worldwood hosted a 10K giveaway in the last Snark thread.





"1 year, 8 months, 3 days (OR) 610 days to hit 10,000 post.

But when you average that out its only 16 posts per day.

Out of 10,000 post, 8000 are probably in the the snark threads

So I'll be throwing a GAW for the "regular" snarkers of 18 years of age or older!!!

Just post as usual, when this thread hits 1000 posts i will run a random number generator and as long as you are 18 or older and have at least 10 posts in THIS thread AND the last snark thread you will win, if not i will run the generator until i hit someone that meets these requirements. Ill probably have to run it a couple times to not him one of my posts anyways LMAO!!!!

But what do you win??? Well what kind of snark thread would this be if i told you now??? It might be sharp, it might be a crotch shot, so post at your own risk "

The package arrived yesterday and let me just say, the contents were...interesting. Lol
First off, WW must know how much I love pink glitter because the package was FILLED with it! Filled with pink glitter...I HATE GLITTER!! Lol
Before I could mutter the words "What the hell!?"..., I was greeted by one of fifty-two crotch shots. Not to mention the two "Jokers"... Good God.










Peering through the glitter filled box of crotch shots, I noticed three individually wrapped packages.
One was marked, "from Neko". Interesting...
What did that cute little pupster send me?...a little dog turd! Oh, how nice. Thanks Neko. :D










WW must know that I have a sweet tooth. Because inside the second wrapped package, I found a pack of hard candy. However, I've never had candy that was in the shape of...well, umm...let's just find out what was in the third package shall we!





This one was marked, "from Woody". Inside was a brand new Remora and a custom firesteel!
Very cool. This is my first Remora and I really like it. I think I'll get a lot of use out of this little badboy!
The firesteel is awesome too. It will see a lot of use as well.

Now THAT'S a GAW! Congratulations, Jonny. Great to hear about the blessed event coming up in November (or possibly Halloween ;)) as well.
 
I've seen stuff like the gift from Neko before -- I'm pretty sure that's high end chocolate, you should give it a taste. :D
(especially if you've never seen American Wedding)

That thing is amazingly comfortable in hand. I didn't think it would be. I haven't used the bow drill divot but the reports I've seen say it heats up kind of hot so wear a glove if using that.

I've read conflicting reviews on that. Some say it gets hot, some say it doesn't. Seems like it would to me. I'm going to use it tomorrow for striking flint.

Just finished free-hand sharpening my 11. Looks like I got my sharpening mojo back - it's hair-popping sharp.
 
I can't free-hand sharpen knives. My hands aren't steady enough for it. However with the KME, I can put scary edges on blades (usually). I was able to return my little Timy knife to "irresponsibly sharp" which I like to carry. I also was able to bring my 11 back to "laser" status :D

I hear ya C-bear. The KME is a great system. I'm actually looking at that for guided system.
 
I used to have the Spyderco Sharpmaker, and while it was awesome, it just didn't work for me. So I got rid of it and picked up the KME after talking to Moose. He seems to be a HUGE proponent of it. With good cause as well.
 
funny, I just finished with the diamonds on an 11, going to strop now. Found it used on ebay as an "abandoned project". Stripped the blade, then decided it could be made a clip point...then the guard nub was removed...then a swedge was added to the clip...then why not, added a recurve to the heel...then curved the spine from swedge to ricasso...then slimmed the handle top and bottom...now debating wether or not to finish stripping and add scales to it.
